Grass Paving

Description

Grass Paving is a premium high quality plastic reinforced grass paving system which, when installed, will give you the eco-friendly, durable and sustainable paved surface of either grass or gravel. Is it TUV certified and also tested and approved by use by the NRA and OPW. Grass Paving is made from recycled polyethylene (HDPE) which makes them non-hazardous, environmentally friendly, and 100% recyclable.

With the Grass Paving, the pavers interlock and have inbuilt pins which allows for simple and quick installation as there is no need for separate pins to be installed. The interlocking of the pavers and the inbuilt pins also means the pavers are jolt-resistant and particularly well suited as parking surfaces, driveways, and paths.

Another feature of Grass Paving is their open design. This allows the grass to take hold in the ground through the pavers. This creates a stable and durable green surface that provides support and safety and does not impair the plants' natural moisturizing abilities.

When correctly installed, the honeycomb structure of the paver's will be covered by the lawn which creates a normal lawn surface and, in turn, protects the product from direct UV rays.

As mentioned above, Grass Paving is eco-friendly. In addition to the above, it is also porous and provides a fully permeable surface. By using Grass Paving you will be avoiding additional surface sealing and thus contribute substantially to flood prevention. Rain will percolate naturally into the soil and no longer flow into drains and sewer systems and therefore too quickly into rivers and streams, rather it seeps slowly and evenly into the ground, thus promoting natural groundwater levels.

Grass Paving has been approved for use in many high profile applications such as on motorway medians shoulders for the NRA and overflow carparks for the OPW. Recent notable Grass Paving applications are on the M50 Motorway, M7 Motorway, Malahide Castle, GrangeGorman Hospital, Oakfield House, Howth Golf Club etc.

Typical Uses include:

  • Fire access roads
  • Car parking
  • Footpaths
  • Helipads
  • Golf buggy tracks
